The founder
We don't read about running businesses. We run them.
Bloodstone Projects is run by Lewis, who operates companies across hospitality marketing, property, publishing and restaurant technology. Every workflow, agent and system we sell was built to solve a problem in one of them first.
Why Bloodstone exists
Bloodstone started because Lewis kept building AI systems for his own businesses, and other founders kept asking him to build the same for theirs.
That order matters. The reporting automation existed because a marketing agency was losing two days a month to it. The editorial pipeline existed because a publisher could not staff the volume. Nothing here started as a product looking for a problem.
It also means we have run the versions that failed. We know which automations quietly stop working, which ones nobody adopts, and which ones are worth the money — because we have paid for all three.
What that changes
You are not briefing someone who will learn your operation from a discovery deck. Rotas, covers, deal pipelines, editorial calendars, client reporting — these are things we run, not things we have read about.
It also means we will tell you when automation is the wrong answer. A process that three people describe three different ways is not ready to be automated, and we would rather say so in week one than build something nobody trusts.
The evidence
Six businesses, not six case studies
Every claim on this site rests on these. They are real companies with real customers, and you can open each one and judge it yourself.
Hospitality marketing
Byter
byter.comA digital marketing agency for hospitality brands. Running paid media and content for restaurant groups is where most of the reporting and campaign automation we now build for clients was first needed.
Restaurant technology
Bytable
bytable.co.ukA restaurant operations and CRM platform, still in development. Building it is why we have opinions about multi-tenant data, guest records and the difference between a demo and a system somebody's service depends on.
Property investment
Red Cardinal Property
redcardinal.co.ukA UK buy-to-let investment consultancy. Deal sourcing, investor communication and compliance chasing are exactly the kind of repetitive, high-stakes admin that justifies an agent rather than another spreadsheet.
Publishing
PropertyNews.io
propertynews.ioUK property market intelligence, published at a volume no newsroom of its size could staff. The editorial pipeline behind it is the same architecture we build for clients who need research and drafting to run without a person in the middle.
Publishing
The Surrey
thesurrey.co.ukA premium local publisher covering dining, property and countryside living. A second, very different editorial operation - useful precisely because what works at scale often does not work locally.
Marketing technology
Fluencer
No public site yet
A micro-influencer marketing platform. Not yet public.
Where we are
Bloodstone Projects is a sole trader based at 33 Cavendish Square, London W1G 0PW. We work with businesses across the UK, and we take on a small number of builds at a time — roughly four a month — because everything is built hands-on.
How we work
Strategy is the first two weeks of a build, not a six-month engagement that ends in a slide deck. Read what we actually do, what it costs, or the work itself.
