The site combines a curated venue directory across restaurants, bars, nightlife and hotels with a daily editorial output, all built on a tiered monetisation model that gives venues a clear upgrade path.

The challenge
What we were solving
Mayfair has plenty of national publications writing about it occasionally and almost no one writing about it consistently. The brief was to build an editorial brand that could publish daily without an in-house newsroom, run a credible venue directory worth charging for, and look as polished as the venues it covers - all while staying lean enough for a single operator to run.
Our approach
How we built it
We designed a refined editorial brand - warm cream surface with Playfair Display headlines and a deep gold accent - and built the full site in Next.js. A Claude-powered content pipeline runs twice daily on a Vercel cron, generating articles across category quotas with duplicate-image detection and stock-image blocking. Venues sit on a five-tier model (free / bronze / silver / gold / platinum) that controls listing depth, badges, and placement. A secure JWT-auth admin panel handles venues, articles, and partners.
